HII’s Mission Technologies Names Marc Sosa as New CIO
Newport News-based Huntington Ingalls Industries has named Marc Sosa as chief information officer for its McLean-based Mission Technologies division, the Fortune 500 contractor. Sosa will be responsible for all aspects of information technology, including guiding the division’s day-to-day leadership of information systems and aligning enterprise cybersecurity and IT goals.
Nayax Names Moshe Shmaryahu as New CIO
Nayax Ltd., a global commerce enablement, payments and loyalty platform designed to help merchants scale their business, announced that Moshe Shmaryahu recently joined the Nayax leadership team as chief information officer (CIO). Shmaryahu will lead the company’s information systems and corporate IT, uniting the IT internal infrastructure and business applications under one roof to optimize the organization’s systems and technology.
IFS Names Belinda Finch as New CIO
The global cloud enterprise software company named Belinda Finch as Chief Information Officer. Finch joins IFS from Three where, as CIO, she led the company’s digital transformation program and worked closely with product teams to drive system developments to enhance customer experience. Finch’s previous experience includes senior leadership roles at Centrica and Vodafone, as well as at Accenture and KPMG.
HHS Names Jennifer Wendel as CIO
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has tapped Jennifer Wendel to serve as acting chief information officer. Wendell is taking the tech helm at the agency from Karl Mathias, who left HHS earlier this month to serve as a program manager for NASA.
Georgia Names Subramanian “Subi” Muniasamy as New CIO
Subramanian “Subi” Muniasamy will join the Georgia Technology Authority next year as the statewide chief technology officer. Muniasamy is currently the chief information officer for the state’s Office of the Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire, where he integrated the Georgia Insurance Management System with Salesforce. He previously worked at Deloitte Consulting; Optum, a health care services provider; and CGI Federal, an IT service management company, according to the announcement.
Wingstop Names Chris Fallon as New CIO
Wingstop named Chris Fallon as SVP and chief information officer, as the chain prepares to leave Olo’s platform for its own tech-suite in H1 2024. Fallon joins the chain from Fortune Brands Water Innovations, a home water management company, where he worked as CIO. Prior to that, he worked at Starbucks for 14 years and had duties which “spanned retail back-of-house, corporate, licensed stores and CPG technologies.”
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Names Tina Haskins Smith as New CIO
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare has named Tina Haskins Smith as its new senior vice president and chief information officer. In this role, Ms. Smith will oversee the Memphis, Tenn.-based health system’s information technology functions and patient- and employee-facing digital transformation initiatives. She most recently served as Seattle Children’s Hospital’s associate vice president and chief applications officer.
Securian Financial Names Darrin Hebert as New CIO
Securian Financial has hired Darrin Hebert as senior vice president and chief information officer, reporting to Kristi Fox, Securian Financial executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Hebert succeeds Pete Berlute, who now leads Securian Financial’s Affinity Solutions Division.
First Interstate Names Lori A. Meyer as New CIO
First Interstate Bank has appointed Lori A. Meyer as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. A longtime First Interstate Bank employee, Meyer started with the Company in 1997 and has served in several leadership roles, including Director of Enterprise Planning (2021-2023), Director of Enterprise Program Management (2018-2021), Director of IT Business Management (2017-2018), Director of IT Business Relations (2016-2017), and Business Process Improvement Lead (2013-2016). Meyer also managed the Bank’s Operations Branch Support Division from 2007 to 2013.
