Today, IT Executives Council will focus on 9 CIOs that have accepted new roles in February.

Burberry Group Names Charlotte Baldwin as New CIO

Burberry has named Charlotte Baldwin as the new chief information officer. Charlotte takes on the role and will be tasked with leading the company’s global technology team. Baldwin was previously the global chief digital and information officer at Costa Coffee, which is part of the Coca-Cola Company.

University of Alabama Names Danny Tang as New CIO

The University of Alabama in Huntsville named Danny Tang, who most recently served as chief information officer of Furman University in South Carolina, as its new CIO. Tang joins the university with more than 20 years of experience in higher education and has worked on numerous IT projects in higher education.

DOE Names Ryan Riedel as New CIO

DOE names Ryan Riedel as chief information officer, an influential position at the sprawling, 15,000-person department that manages the nation’s energy policy and nuclear weapons. The CIO oversees the operations of the agency and cybersecurity across the labs, power marketing administrations, and the National Nuclear Security Administration, an arm of the agency tasked with overseeing the nation’s nuclear weapons stockpile.

DOT Names Pavan Pidugu as New CIO

The Department of Transportation (DoT) has named Pavan Pidugu as its new chief information officer. He has over 20 years of experience in technology and leadership. Before joining the Federal government in 2020, he carried out technological innovations in the retail industry for companies including Target, NCR, and Walmart.

Panera Bread Names Santhosh Kumar as New CIO

Santhosh Kumar

Panera Bread has named Santhosh Kumar as chief information officer. In his new role, Kumar will lead the technology organization of Panera Bread, where he will be responsible for the development, integration and deployment of technology across more than 2,200 Panera cafes.

Fairmont State University Names Paul Steinhaus as New CIO

Fairmont State University announced the appointment of Paul Steinhaus as its new Chief Information Officer. With more than three decades of experience in information technology management and strategic planning, Steinhaus brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the institution.

ECI Names Brian Hildebrand as New CIO

Central One Federal Credit Union Names Belinda Baldwin as New CIO

Baldwin is a seasoned IT operations executive with over 20 years of IT and financial services experience driving digital transformation, operational excellence, and strategic alignment within global organizations such as Bank of America, UBS, and Janus Henderson Investors.

Louisiana Names Evelina Broussard as New CIO

Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry announced that Evelina Broussard, who most recently served as an IT manager for an energy company, will be the state’s newest chief information officer and leader of its Office of Technology Services. In addition to being a lifelong Louisiana resident, Broussard has led the IT department for the Louisiana division of Atmos Energy, a Dallas natural gas company, as the manager of information technology for the past 28 years.
