New York Life announced the appointment of Deepa Soni as executive vice president and chief information officer. Soni will oversee enterprise technology, cyber, data, artificial intelligence and New York Life Ventures, the company’s venture capital arm. She brings more than two decades of experience driving technology transformation in financial services.
A.O. Smith Names Chris Howe as New CDIO

A.O. Smith Corporation (AOS), a leader in water heating and water treatment, has hired Chris Howe as the company’s new senior vice president and chief digital information officer (CDIO). This new role will encompass all traditional CIO responsibilities while emphasizing the development of new digital strategies to support the business. Howe was most recently the chief executive officer and co-founder of Rise and Shift, a boutique cloud transformation and Generative AI consulting firm.
Whataburger Names Rohit Kapoor as New Chief Digital and Technology Transformation Officer

Whataburger has named Rohit Kapoor as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Technology Transformation Officer, bringing in a seasoned leader to help shape the brand’s digital future. With over 30 years of global experience in restaurant and retail tech, Kapoor has led major digital transformations focused on improving both customer and employee experiences.
Oklahoma Names Daniel Langley as New CISO

Oklahoma has named Daniel Langley, a former Washington state IT official, as Oklahoma’s chief information security officer. Langley spent more than two years at Washington Technology Solutions, where he served as deputy CISO for security operations.
Walsworth Names Jen Maclvor as New CIO

Walsworth announced that it has hired Jen MacIvor as the company’s new Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Officer (CIO). MacIvor is an experienced IT and digital operations executive with extensive expertise in enterprise architecture, technology strategy and large-scale digital transformation.
AXS Names Nikhil Bobde as New CTO

AXS announced Nikhil Bobde, formerly of Microsoft and Meta, as its new chief technology officer. Bobde joins AXS after three years at marketplace platform Thumbtack, where he was CTO. He was the senior director of engineering at Facebook for a decade and, before that, spent nearly 14 years at Microsoft as a principal development manager.
Froedtert ThedaCare Health Names Brian Sterns as New CIO

Brian Sterns has been named senior vice president and CIO of Froedtert ThedaCare Health. In this role, Mr. Sterns will lead the health system’s technology strategy to support its overall goals. He will focus on enhancing the care experience for patients, families and staff, while also planning for future technology needs. Mr. Sterns most recently served as chief digital health officer for Froedtert ThedaCare Health’s North Region.
Citadel Credit Union Names Eric Skinner as New CIO

Citadel Credit Union has promoted Eric Skinner to the position of Chief Information Officer. Skinner has been a key member of Citadel’s technology leadership since 2013. With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, he has played an integral role in advancing the credit union’s operational infrastructure and digital transformation strategy.
Halfords Names Sarah Haywood as New CIO

Halfords has appointed Sarah Haywood as chief information officer. Haywood worked with Carlsberg Group for over six years until 2024 where her most recent role was chief information officer. Before that she held technology leadership positions at Mondelēz International, Kraft Foods, and Cadbury Schweppes.
IFS Names Robi Gone as New CIO
