Dairy Queen Announces Phil Crawford as New EVP and CTO
Phil Crawford will oversee IT and retail technology for Dairy Queen corporate and its 7,800 restaurants worldwide as EVP and CTO for International Dairy Queen. Crawford, who previously served as the global head of food, beverage and hospitality at Adyen, has over 20 years of experience in IT and technology and has worked at restaurant brands including Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, Shake Shack and Yard House, as well as retailer Godiva Chocolatier.
Notre Dame Announces Tracy Weber as VP and CIO
The University of Notre Dame has appointed Tracy Weber as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Weber brings more than 30 years of IT experience, including 23 years at Notre Dame, where she has held leadership positions across applications development, enterprise content management, platform services, collaborative IT services, and community IT experience.
Daniel Puscas Named CIO of FirstEnergy
FirstEnergy Corp. has appointed Daniel Puscas as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, effective July 13. In his new role, Puscas will oversee the company’s enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity initiatives, IT operations, and digital transformation efforts across one of the nation’s largest investor-owned electric utilities. Puscas joins FirstEnergy from Fortium Partners, where he advised organizations on technology strategy and operational improvements.
University of Rochester Announces Jim Forrester as Interim CIO and University VP
Jim Forrester, associate vice president of information technology at University of Rochester Medicine, has been named interim University of Rochester chief information officer and University vice president. In his IT role at URochester Medicine, Forrester has played a pivotal part in developing and delivering a comprehensive IT strategy for both the Health Sciences Campus and the healthcare affiliate organizations.
Eric Tagliere Joins R1 as CIO
Healthcare revenue cycle management provider, R1, announced the appointment of Eric Tagliere as Chief Information Officer. He will lead the company’s global technology organization, overseeing product engineering, enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and technology innovation as R1 continues expanding its healthcare technology services. Tagliere brings more than two decades of enterprise technology leadership experience.
Geisinger Appoints Bill Bellando as CIO
Integrated healthcare system, Geisinger, has selected Bill Bellando as its new Chief Information Officer. Bellando will oversee enterprise information technology, digital health initiatives, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and clinical technology supporting Geisinger’s hospitals, physician practices, and health plan operations. Bellando joins Geisinger after serving as Chief Information Officer at Wellstar Health System.
Colt Data Centre Services Appointed David Burton as CIO
Colt Data Centre Services (Colt DCS) has confirmed David Burton as Chief Information Officer. The global data centre operator hosts AI-ready, hyperscale and large enterprise facilities. David takes responsibility for the global technology and security teams at Colt DCS. Wasif Jamal Appointed CIO at WellSpan Health
WellSpan Health announced Wasif Jamal as its new Chief Information Officer. In this position, Jamal will lead the organization’s technology strategy while advancing digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and enterprise IT services across WellSpan’s healthcare network.
Michael Verdesca Joins Cumberland Farms as CIO
Convenience retailer, Cumberland Farms, has appointed Michael Verdesca as Chief Information Officer. He will lead technology strategy across the company’s retail operations, supporting digital commerce, customer engagement, enterprise systems, and operational technology initiatives. Verdesca most recently served as Chief Information Officer at Murphy USA. Previously, he was Chief Information and Digital Officer for Focus Brands, now GoTo Foods, where he oversaw technology, digital marketing, analytics, and program management for several international restaurant brands.
Texas Capital Appoints Mo Jamous as Managing Director, Chief Digital and Information Officer
Mo Jamous joined Texas Capital as managing director, chief digital and information officer. Prior to joining Texas Capital, Jamous spent five years at U.S. Bank as CIO of consumer and business banking and most recently served as SVP and CTO of banking platforms at IT consulting firm FIS.
Josh Fecteau Named Chief Data and AI Officer and CIO at Teradata
Teradata announced the appointment of Josh Fecteau as Chief Data and AI Officer and Chief Information Officer, expanding his leadership responsibilities to include both enterprise technology and the company’s internal data and AI strategy. Fecteau joined Teradata in 2019 and has led the company’s Data and AI organization since late 2025.
